You may have some interest in subscribing to our free
email discussion list,
Con-Aero. Below you will find a description of
Con-Aero and subscription information. The
Con-Aero list is moderated so
you will not receive any advertisements, solicitations or inappropriate
material. What we do have are ongoing discussions about project
techniques, specialty equipment and natural resource pilot job
vacancies. There are more than 200 natural resource pilots from four
continents presently subscribed to the list. I believe that you will
find our discussion list useful and informative. If it turns out that
you don't like Con-Aero, getting off the list is just as easy as getting
on.
Please forward this page to any government employed aviation
specialist that you feel would be interested in
Con-Aero.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime.

Description of Con-Aero
CON-AERO is a discussion list for members of the International
Association Of Natural Resource Pilots (IANRP) and others interested in
aviation applications for natural resource conservation. This list will
serve to exchange information about IANRP activities, and for discussion
of aircraft applications for natural resource monitoring, research,
management and regulation enforcement.
A discussion list is an automatic distributor of electronic mail. The
distributor for the Con-Aero list is a computer at the University of
North Dakota. When someone sends an e-mail message to Con-Aero, the
message is then transmitted to each person subscribed to the list.
So, if you have a question relating to natural resource aviation or
an idea to share with others in this field, simply address your message
to: Con-Aero@aero.und.edu
The IANRP is a group of pilots who utilize aircraft in the field of
renewable resources. Their aviation specialties are varied and include
aircraft use for forestry, wildlife, and fisheries applications plus
enforcement of natural resource regulations. Each individual has a
wealth of knowledge in their particular field and through the
Association they can share their experience and knowledge with others.
The CON-AERO list is maintained by UND Aerospace, at the University
of North Dakota, and the International Association Of Natural Resource
Pilots.
The objectives of the organization and this list server are:
A. Promote the recognition of the importance of sound aviation
practices in resource management, with safety as the paramount factor.
B. Encourage and develop the educational, social and economic
interests of aviation in resource management.
C. Exchange information on operational techniques and procedures.
D. Utilize member experiences to develop and distribute reference
materials of aviation interest to the Association.
E. Coordinate, research and promote new techniques and equipment.
F. Take all action necessary to further the use of aircraft in
natural resource management.
The IANRP holds an annual workshop and publishes a quarterly
newsletter to keep the membership abreast of new techniques, equipment
and
Association business. The Association also maintains a web page at:
http://IANRP.org
We encourage anyone interested in natural resource aviation and the
activities of the International Association of Natural Resource Pilots
to subscribe to this list and publicize it to others.
