Jeff Faught started his
career by attending A&P school in 1981 and working mainly in the Ag
industry. While working through mechanic, parts department manager and
director of maintenance positions he obtained his commercial instrument
single engine land and sea license. Since May of 2001 Jeff has been with the
North Dakota Game & Fish Department flying and maintaining the departments
Scout and TR182. Most of his 500-600 hours of flight time a year are spent
on big game projects, but also include non-game and habitat work. Jeff feels
that this career has brought his love of the outdoors and aviation together.
The department also has a
warden who flies the TR182 70-100 hours a year doing surveillance and
investigation.
The NDG&F Dept. realizes
the importance and value of having an aviation department to get the job
done that can not be done any other way.
