Hello Natural Resource Pilots. I am
writing to you as the organization’s President again because of
the tragic loss of our Vice President Tony Payne. I, as I’m sure
many of you, will miss him.
It has been another busy year that
has already brought us to our annual conference/meeting. This year
the meeting was well done by Bill David and crew at Phoenix AZ.
Thank you Bill. If you were not there you missed some interesting
and informative speakers along with great sharing of information
and experience of those in attendance. These are what I feel to be
the most important benefits of being a member of the IANRP. They
promote safety and productivity.
One of the things we discussed was
how we can get more members to participate in the annual meeting.
Please let our board members know how we can help with this or any
other subject you want to bring up. We are looking for input for
the newsletter and profiles for the web page. Please feel free to
pen something and send it in.
As I key this Paul Anderson of the
UFWS in Anchorage AK said he will host the next meeting in
Anchorage the first week of May 2006 on the days just prior to the
big aviation tradeshow. This should be a great opportunity for
some natural resource and bush flying information gathering and
sharing. Please plan early to take advantage of this special
opportunity.
We are looking for volunteers to
host the annual meeting in the future so we can stay ahead in the
planning game. Please consider this chance to showcase you
facility and help promote our organization.
We are happy to inform you that Mike
Vivion of Fairbanks AK is the new Vice President, Bill David is
the Secretary for a second term, Fred Kruger is continuing to be
the Treasurer/Librarian and John Clem will continue to be the web
Editor. Thanks guys for your great service.
Fly Safe,
Jeff Faught
