Stinson 108-3 in New Hampshire

My antennas are actually already mounted although not yet approved.  The Fish & Game people kind of rushed me into business when they were hunting for 60 moose to equip with telemetry collars.  The antennas were supplied by TELONICS in Arizona and were "ready to install" on the forward strut of my two strut Stinson 108-3 with the coax going down the strut through the gear opening in the fuselage and into the cockpit. The dipoles are two pieces of steel affixed to a phenolic, v-shaped piece that clamps quickly to the strut with Adel clamps.  Very simple.  The whole assembly is titled about 30 degrees so that when the Stinson is in a 30 degree turn or more, the antenna is in the best position.

TELONICS has a great web site with downloadable installation instructions and user manuals at http://www.telonics.com
